Learn a little more about ellophotos

Since a young age I have been taken with art, dreaming and embracing the realities and warm beauty that the world has to offer. I have passion for, and have been trained in sketching, sculpting, painting, wood working, graphic design, and photography. I have been engaging in photography for the better part of a decade. I have traveled on excursions to Italy, Romania, the Netherlands, and various places throughout the US.

While I always enjoyed photography, and allowed my other artistic training to flow into the creation of my photographs, it wasn't until the death of my grandfather that I saw the true power of photography. The last weeks of my grandfather’s life I spent as much time as possible with him. As I cataloged his final week on this planet, and the final few hours on this world a strange feeling came over me. I knew that these images could never be recaptured, or recreated. This made me realized how special instants in time can be. In our digital world where images on hard disks can be lost to a computer virus, an electrical surge, or spilled glass of water there is something truly timeless about a photograph.

Some images are once in a life time, no second chances. Having an experienced photographer that can capture your moments as truthfully, and as beautifully as humanly possible may be the difference between a moment in time that is cherished tangibly for eternity, or only as an ever fleeting memory. These are the memories I capture.
