Classic portraiture, photojournalism, why not both?

Many times when I meet with a couple the question inevitably comes up "what's your shooting style?" There are many wedding photographers who have a tendency to stick to one or the other; photojournalism or classic portraiture. However we believe there is an appropriate time and place for both styles.

At ellophotos we take pride in our shooting style and the versatility we can offer. We have formal scholastic training in studio portraiture, and we offer complete studio lighting on location to make your wedding day images nothing less then spectacular. However we also know that all the fancy lighting in the world is not the magic recipe for perfect pictures. Capturing people naturally can yield some of the most charming and fascinating glimpses of a wedding day.

In order to give you our cherished client the most versatile and complete package, we use complete studio lighting for the creative formal / environmental portraits, and yet we offer that off the cuff, candid, shooting style at the reception so as to capture the wonderful spirit of your wedding day.
